Novel defrosting method for air-source heat pump with multi-assisted heat sources

For the problems of defrosting methods with single heat source and complex structure, develops a new defrosting method, called multi-heat-source assisted (MHSA) defrosting method. The method is based on the principle of hot vapor bypass method and heat storage method. The heat storage device accumulates the heat from various heat sources such as the heat produced by system in valley period of electricity and the solar energy, and then the stored heat is used to heat the suction vapor of compressor, which achieves the effect of MHSA defrosting. Establishes the mathematical models of evaporator, compressor, condenser, throttle and regenerator, develops the MHSA defrosting model for simulation, and compares the simulation results with those of the hot vapor bypass method. The results show that the defrosting speed of the MHSA defrosting method is higher than that of the hot vapor bypass method. Meanwhile, the wall temperature rise of the coil also accelerates.
